Rachelle McIntyre-Nicholson has been in her current position for 4 years, and is Compliance and Risk Officer of Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital. In her role, she handles all incidents on hospital grounds, ancillaries and subsidiaries. She also manages and mitigates risk, including all medical mishaps and compliance, and oversees practices and procedures as mandated by law.
Having previously been a family practice lawyer, Rachelle found the field emotionally taxing, and so sought a new direction. She holds a JD in Law from West Virginia University, class of 2002, and is a Certified in Health Care. Her bachelor's degree was completed at Fairmount University. Rachelle is a member of the Health Care Compliance Professionals and is an active member of West Virginia Bar Association.
Rachelle credits her success to being competitive and driven, and hopes to branch off into consulting in the years ahead. Outside of work, the volunteers with the children's youth choir at church, and enjoys family activities and travel.
