More than 25 years
With more than four decades of experience in her field, Agatha Carrington is the Secretary of Health Wellness & Family Development where she works in a governmental institution and asylum. She is in charge of health, wellness, and family development and brings unmatched expertise in health policy planning and medical sociology.
Agatha holds her degree in Medical Sociology from the University of the West Indies and is a member of the Trinidad Association of Health Care Professionals and the Caribbean Association of Oncology and Hematology. Also a passionate educator, she was an assistant professor at the university up until January 2017 and now helps out part time for students completing their Masters. Moving forward, Agatha plans to continue working with planning group for the future of the institution.
When not engaged with work, Agatha enjoys sewing and meeting people.
