Alison Waterfield a self-motivated, driven, committed Scientist with over 10 years of experience in four of the world’s biggest pharmaceutical companies, working in different therapeutic areas (pain research, immunology, psychiatry, oncology) and service functions (medicinal chemistry, bioanalytics). She has a keen interest in research, but also in development of medicines, business strategy, scientific operations, regulatory, health policy, and communications. She is now a Senior Associate at Roche. Currently, Alison is at a turning point in her life and career, having overcome some very difficult personal and professional situations, and she wants to come out of the research laboratory, apply and further develop her skills and abilities and work on something more impactful as well as lead and manage projects and people. She is ideally looking for a mentor. Highly educated, Alison holds her Master's degree in Pharmacology from Oxford University, a Bachelor's in Chemistry with Molecular Medicine from the University of Hulle, and a Postgraduate degree in Medical Translation from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. She is also a member of BPS, Oxford and the Cambridge Club of Zurich. In her spare time, Alison enjoys badminton, reading, travel, cooking and yoga.
