Andrea Reider is the Owner of Reider Graphic Design. Her life as a photographer and graphic designer began in 1985, when she graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in English. It was the year of the Macintosh computer and “desktop publishing,” and her first job was managing a typesetting shop in Ann Arbor.
Andrea moved to San Francisco in 1987 and began designing and typesetting books as a freelancer for several major book publishers in California and around the country. As a photographer, she developed a process for digitally colorizing photographs, looking for a perfect way to use her design, layout, and digital manipulation skills to create her own works of art.
Andrea received her BA from the University of Michigan in English. In her spare time she plays the guitar, finger style, and especially likes to play blues and jazz.
