I work with top managers who struggle with the effects of disruption in their markets. I help them discover futuristic perspectives and business prototyping, so they can gradually add new, tested, revenue sources to their bottom line.

Barbara van Veen is a Futurist for Leaders Against Routine. She specializes in managerial decision-making for the future and how emerging technologies are disrupting the way we work, learn, and play. Her specialization is a rare one, and even more so amongst women. She is very interested in sharing her learnings and expertise with the community to help the women who would like to debate the business future that we shape together. Barbara feels that the greater the diversity of opinions on the future, the better people will be able to deal with change and disruption. This is why she is a great supporter of any professional network that actively tries to discuss emerging issues. Often, this is a rather emotional debate and her role is to bring in the science behind issues to help clarify them. When not working she enjoys traveling and spending time with her two dogs.
