Blanca Rosas has 21 years of military experience, and currently serves as Response Department Head for the U.S. Coast Guard. As third-in-command, she oversees 256 people. She received medals for leading her team's response in the wake of Hurricane Irma, and is known for having a democratic style of leadership.
With a master's degree in Quality Management Systems from the New England College of Business, to be completed this year, Blanca also serves as the President of ANSA. She was inspired to enter into her career because she wanted to serve in the military, and is proud she was able to complete her higher education thanks to military sponsorship.
Blanca credits her success to having the unflinching support of her family, friends, and colleagues. Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, volleyball, music and movies.
