Carina Carvalho is a Video Product Manager for Globo.com. She has more than twenty years of experience in her professional field. Carina manages a team of 200 people and is the interface with the business area. She started her career working with publicity, then decided to work with internet and eventually became a manager with Globo.com
Carina’s expertise are in marketing. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Editorial Production from Universal Federal of Rio De Janeiro in 2008. She does some public speaking at the university about her profession and also does some lecturing there. Carina’s the most proud of being the only woman at her company that leads a team.
In the next few years she hopes to pursue an opportunity outside of Brazil. She attributes her success to being very persuasive and having very good communication skills. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
