Caroline McKinnon is the Director of North Bay Grief Recovery. She has worked in PR, as a freelance journalist, owner of an employment agency, stage actress and voice over artist. She had a late life career change into Grief Recovery as a specialist trained by the Grief Recovery Institute in Sherman Oaks, CA. This process saves lives and she remains passionate and dedicated to helping others recover. After several personal experiences, Caroline felt a calling to work as a grief Recovery Specialist. The Grief Recovery method she provides is a time limited, structured program that typically lasts for 8 weeks and can be done Individually or in a group. She is well known for her compassionate heart, ability to empathize and relating to her clients in a kind manor. Caroline joined Unity in Marin in 2006, and has been serving as a prayer chaplain for 9 years and is the current leader. She has volunteered for Marin Suicide Prevention hotline and Meals of Marin. Her vision for the future is to work with Employee Assistance programs and become the CEO of an non profit. Caroline is passionate and dedicated to helping others recover.
