In a career spanning over 30 years in the field of linguistic training and coaching in France I have had the opportunity to teach English to professionals and students, manage higher education language departments, develop a range of training courses in specialised English as well as professional development workshops for English trainers, design linguistic assessment tools and manage language-related projects for a range of client profiles. I am currently General Manager of The Language Network, a non-profit association committed to assisting English language trainers with their own professional development and whose members participate in a range of linguistic projects for both the private and public sector, in France and abroad.

Claire Oldmeadow is General Manager for The Language Network. Claire relocated to France from the UK in the mid-1980s. She has been involved in the language training and coaching profession for over 25 years and co-founded the non-profit structure The Language Network to help English trainers working in France - a large proportion of whom are women – to support and empower them to develop their professional capabilities. She is passionate about optimising education and enhancing learning and has a podcast on an English radio station in France called 'Englishwaves' on this theme. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
