Cristina Cofano has been a Psychiatrist for 25 years and currently works in an outpatient center in Milan, Italy as well as a public hospital where she is in charge of 400 patients in the hospital ward. Cristina has always been interested in the central nervous system and how the brain and mind work. Also a prolific writer, she wrote a section of a book called "Violence on Children: Image and Reality", which was published by Franco Angeli in 1991. Cristina holds her Medical degree from the University of Milano and a Post Specialty in Clinical Psychology, also from the University of Milano.
Moving forward, Cristina wants to continue to have a broader view in the field and wants to work in private clinics. The key to her success thus far is her positive and open attitude in a team and getting along with colleagues. Cristina is always open to patients teaching her as she works with them and is proud to be able to continue with high, positive spirits in general.
When not engaged with work, Cristina enjoys skiing, reading, theater, art exhibits, and swimming.
