Doet Boersma has been a Senior at Kunstacademie Friesland since 2015 and has been an active visual artist since 1985. Previously, she was an art professor at the University of Applied Sciences, NHL and has owned her own gallery for the past 20 years. Visual art has always been a passion of Doet's and she was certain at a young age that she would pursue it as a career.
Her goals for the next few years are to slow down a little in the professional sector. The keys to her success throughout her career have been maintaing a positive attitude and never giving up. She looks forward to connecting with likeminded professionals and expanding her network.
When not engaged with work, Doet enjoys horseback riding and is an avid reader.
