Debbie A. Lowe is an Human Resources professional with more than 20 years of experience. She currently leads the entire HR department of FedEx ground for Canada. Her duties entail all HR operations, including talent acquisition, leadership development, training, change management, employee engagement, and organizational development (personnel), labor law and compliance and some cross border aspects of HR Risk & Governance in the United States.
Debbie fell in love with HR when a professor she had when studying business administration 'did a bit" on HR. She is also interested in how HR has become more about business partners and relationships than about just holding information. Moving forward, Debbie hopes to become a Chief Executive Human Resource Officer for a large, global organization in the tech industry and to coach and mentor those aspiring in her field.
When not engaged with work, Debbie enjoys running, dancing and going clubbing with her husband.
