Edna Ogwangi is the Director of Aid Distribution for Monitoring and Evaluation at Stop Hunger Now. She has been in her current position since Oct 2015, and is responsible for providing organizational leadership and mobilizing necessary technical resources to develop and maintain an effective aid distribution, as well as monitoring and evaluation system throughout the organization. Edna also oversees the identification and lead efforts to conceptualize and implement strategic monitoring and evaluation plans designed to improve internal program practices of Stop Hunger Now, its Affiliates and Impact Partners. Edna ensures that organizational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and expectations of various Stop Hunger Now stakeholders ( Volunteers, Impact Partners, Donors, and the Stop Hunger Now Board), are met effectively by measuring the effectiveness, impact and sustainability of all Stop Hunger Now programs around the world. This includes Food Aid, Gift in Kind, Crisis and Relief Response, and Sustainable Development Programs. Edna’s future goals are to create her own non-profit, so she can make an even bigger impact. Her greatest achievement has been empowering the next generation.
