Ferlita Pabalan is the Technical Support Services Specialist for Gulf Business Machines. She graduated with a Master's in Communication Arts and began working at a radio station. She didn't see herself in the world of media because she was so young at the time and couldn't take the risk of it. A door opened for her at IBM and started as an Executive Secretary, then got promoted as a Team Leader of IT Services.
She faces different challenges on a day-to-day basis, works with small to large businesses and works with different types of customers. Ferlita says she started loving it, and then it opened a new door for her when she started dealing with projects. She says the key to her success has come from her perseverance.
In the next three to five years she wants to get certified in Contract Management and then study Commercial Law. She also wants to write a book one day about professional improvement, incorporating yoga and discussing how to stay calm and take certifications for life coaching. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
