Karen Taylor is a seasoned business woman with 30 years of experience working and volunteering in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. As president of K.O. Taylor & Associates, organizational development consultants, Karen believes in building long standing positive relationships with determination and creativity. An energetic self starter known for delivering quality results to my clients, Karen specializes in helping people and organizations maximize their potential by creating work and learning environments that facilitate productivity and creativity. Karen’s focuses on achieving the greatest return on investment for her clients in the areas of strategic planning, board development and consulting, change management, organizational development and design, coaching, conflict resolution and human rights investigations and conciliation. Passionate about helping people be their best selves, Karen is quickly able to build an element of trust with her clients, enabling her to better understand and meet clients’ needs. Karen is a lifelong learner dedicated to helping others. Karen has a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of New Brunswick (1988), a Certificate in Social Work from St. Thomas University (1982), and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Psychology from the University of New Brunswick (1972). She is affiliated with the University of New Brunswick and several local and regional organizations. In her spare time, Karen enjoys traveling, reading, gardening, and collecting art.
