As a young woman I have always had the burning desire to be an Agent of Change. My mind is filled with solutions to problems even as a child. I have always been a Leader in field I choose , I have held the following positions in my life time such as and not limited to Head Girl , Leader Hospital Christian Fellowship etc. I have always winked at challenges and held on to hope. I have a strong spiritual conviction which allows me to walk in my destiny and overcome the obstacles and boy they have been many . I hold integrity close to my leadership style. Mostly it has been my detractors found I was always too young to hold high positions. I believe that my destiny has been to be a Leader in my time.
thus with this philosophy I continue to study and educate myself and along the way have held positions of leadership. I say this to my women folk a strong woman always winks at challenges . Do not be afraid if challenge doesn't wink back, stare it in the eye and say hey in my eyes you are smaller that's my destiny and press forward.
Against this background I have recently acquired the position of Advisor to the Minister of National Diversity and Social Integration and to the MInister of Gender , Youth and Child Development and there have been historical strides such as the Nelson Island Project and Operationalization of the Children's Authority Respectively.
I am also an author and presently finishing a three volume book on Management and Management Consulting. I keep on Pressing to make a change in my world since I believe it is my destiny to make a difference as a woman,

Dr. Karlene Sookoo is also known as Her Excellency Reverend Dr. Karlene Sookoo.
Dr Karlene Sookoo is associated with Word of Life Ministries International which is a Non-Govermental Organization recognized by ECOSOC United Nations. She has been the par excellence Advisor to Government Ministers .During her tenure there was the commissioning of the Nelson Island Project and the Operationalization of the Children's Authority in her native country Trinindad and Tobago.
She was elected the Research Officer in 2017 and She is also a Co-Coordinator for United National Congress. The United National Congress(UNC) is a political group that formed the government 2000 and 2010 in Trinidad and Tobago. UNC was known for ensuring needs, goods and services were provided to the citizenry and made its obligation to Central Government. Dr. Karlene Sookoo went into this field by way of natural progression. Her expertise are in international relations and public sector management and the philosophies of Theology.
Dr. Sookoo has a Doctorate in Philosophy of Theology from CICA International University and Seminary in 2016. She does some public speaking relating to counseling, leadership and management. She is open to make contributions to organizations or societies that would want her expertise..
Dr. Sookoo says the keys to her success have been staying focused, prayer and education. In the next few years she hopes to write a three volume book on management and leadership. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
