Personal Information
With over two decades of experience in sales and leadership, Kathy Brewer is now a Licensed and Certified Nutritionist at Kathy Maio's Phit Life where she serves both male and female clients by helping to facilitate the meeting of all fitness goals and promoting a healthy and balanced lifestyle. She helps people get healthy, not just look lean, and her mission is to help others feed the battle of mind, body and connection with weight loss.
After taking on a personal challenge with eating disorders, Kathy felt strongly that she could funnel her expertise into helping others. She then obtained her certification and made it a business tackling mental challenges with food and creating a healthy and active lifestyle that incorporates all food but in the amount that we were meant to have it. Kathy also holds her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration & Political Science from Youngstown State University in Ohio and is a member of the NPC: National Physique Committee and the Healthy Charlotte Initiative.
Also a dynamic speaker, Kathy does public speaking in Charlotte and presentations at Crossfit gyms, Healthy Charlotte Meetings, Day in Charlotte for Women's Fitness, and webinars for her clients via Zoom meetings. She is also in the process of creating a recipe book combining guilty pleasures with healthy recipes. Moving forward, Kathy would like to start coaching on a grander scale and expand her business into a group format where more clients can share their stories. She wants to work with women on how to put themselves first and she believes that starts with their health.
When not engaged with work, Kathy enjoys reading, cooking, and sports/fitness. She is also an advocate for Autism Speaks.
