With over 18 years of experience in education, Kellea Martin is a Teacher for the Peel District School Board where she functions in a contained classroom with special education students, works with autistic students, teaches life skills and works with five teaching assistants.
Kellea holds her Master's Degree in Education from Niagra University and is a member of the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario. Also a passionate speaker, she has given presentations on collective bargaining and talks on leadership to other teachers at union meetings. Kellea credits her success thus far to her continued perseverance and positive attitude. Moving forward, she hopes to go back into the union and run for a Vice President position or move into a consultant role with the board.
When not engaged with work, Kellea enjoys travel, cooking, golf, swimming and paddle boarding.
