Larissa Córdoba is an HR Business Partner for Bladex. She originally went to school for Marketing, and started at an entry level job. She figured she could work her way through Human Resources and eventually move into Marketing, but along the way she fell in love with HR and has been doing it ever since.
Her current company Bladex is a bank, which was originally established in 1976 and now operates all over Latin America. Their main goals are to provide financial solutions to financial institutions, companies and investors doing business in Latin America. They also want to be recognized as a leading institution supporting trade and regional integration across Latin America. Her company is based out of Panama.
She believes her passion for the job and positive attitude have contributed to her success at the company. She just had a new baby and is currently on maternity leave.
She is always open to new opportunities, and loves to travel, read motivational books, and novels.
At work, she is responsible of providing Human Resources advisory service and orientation to internal clients (management) in their personnel administration, staffing needs, employee development (training), talent retention, performance management (appraisal evaluation), internal communication and organizational climate, amongst others. She proposes and implements HR solutions to meet the Bank’s needs in accordance with its policies and procedures for the assigned areas in the Head Office (Panama) and regional offices in 6 countries: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and US (New York Agency).
She is a Certified Coach with the International Coaching Community (ICC), and a Certified Intermediate Trade Finance Course (Credential ID 7353268). She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
