Liz Feasey has been an IT consultant for 35 years and a business owner for 6 years. She is responsible for business consultancy, and provides business development services. She works on security based projects as well as utility company projects. She has meetings with potential clients, and skypes with businesses, and answer e-mails. Three days a week she works from home.
She got into her field because it was an engineering discipline she could get involved in. Now she is more of a business transformation consultant. She specializes in software engineering, using technology to improve businesses. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies and Software Engineering from Walhampton University, 1999.
On the horizon, she would like to work more in security, and to help young women have more career opportunities. She has always been inquisitive and is always learning- these are the keys to her success. She managed a team of failing software engineers and was able to help them grow and develop successfully. She is proud of this achievement and it is the highlight of her career. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
