With over 25 years of experience in her field, Lori MacMullin is the President of the Centre for Distance Education Inc. where she brings dynamic leadership skill and unmatched expertise in education, public relations, and online advertising to her role. Lori's responsibilities consist of overseeing business from the administrative and financial aspects and financing decisions.
Lori holds her MBA in Strategic Leadership from Cape Breton University and is a member of the Cape Breton Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Institute of Management. Often lauded for her work, she received the Business Excellence award from Cape Breton Chamber of Commerce. Moving forward, she hopes to do some consulting in strategic management and to primarily employ women, as she believes in the importance of the presence of women in business and education.
When not engaged with work, Lori enjoys travel and going skiing and running.
