With over 25 years of experience in her field, Maggie Fischer is a COP MCSP at Save the Children where she brings dynamic leadership skill and expertise in primary healthcare, maternal care and nutrition to her role. Her main responsibilities are overseeing the programs and planning the survival program, as she is the chief of this party. Prior to her current position, Maggie garnered diverse experience working as a food security specialist and as an advisor in nutrition and food. Maggie holds her Bachelor's degree in Public Heath from University of San Carlos as well as her Master's in Public Health and Behavioral Science from UCLA. Also a prolific writer, she has written reports on breast feeding and the health and safety benefits and deterrents. When not engaged with work, Maggie enjoys reading, travel and cooking. Also a passionate philanthropist, she is involved in volunteer work doing fundraising for children in Guatemala with a global organization.
