Dr. Maria Barroso has over 30 years of experience in the medical field, and is a medical doctor for the Portuguese Medical Association. With over 30 years of experience in primary health, she created a home for elderly people, and works as a medical doctor to treat their needs and ensure they receive the best in care.
Maria holds a master's degree in Medicine from a university in Portugal, class of 1979. She belongs to an international society for the history of medicine, and has served as Vice President of the Congress of the Portuguese Medical Association since 2012. She is a dynamic public speaker, and hosts conferences on women and health.
