Dr Maria T Cook, General Dentist at Mount Zion Dental, is a board-certified general dentist with over 12 years experience. She excels and loves all phases of general dentistry and has a wealth of knowledge from cosmetic dentistry, implant restorations, crowns, root canals and veneers. She has a vision of creating affordable dentistry for her clients in Columbia and speaks fluent Spanish and English.
Maria received her dental degree from Universidad El Bosque in Bogota, Colombia and completed internships at National Neurological Institute, Children's Cardiology Institute, San Jose Hospital, and the Oncology Institute. She completed a general practice residency at Louisiana State University and at St. Luke's Hospital in Cleveland Ohio charity hospital. She has been published and has spoken publicly on C3/C4 in Downs Syndrome patients. Maria is a member of the Florida Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the South Florida Dental Association.
