María del Carmen Jimenez is the Dean of Discipline for Colegio La Piedad. She has been in her career field of over 27 years. Her main responsibility is to oversee the teachers. When something goes wrong they come to her office and she must resolve the issues. She works with the students as well.
Maria says she always wanted to be a teacher to make a difference in the world and serve the youth. Her expertise are in education. Maria has her Master’s Degree in Education and Theology. She doesn’t do any public speaking at this time.
In the future she is hoping to get another Master’s Degree in Counseling to work with Veterans who have experienced trauma. Maria says the keys to her success have been persistence and consistency and sticking with her values.
