Marin is active with the Service Naval Association, Alpha Phi Alumni, Girl Scouts of America, and St John Apostle. Marin founded Fair Winds Recruiting to find top performing, talented, and qualified veterans with career momentum that has been built-up from progression in responsibilities and increasingly demanding leadership positions. The company assists veterans with transitioning their military experience into strong foundations for the challenge of a civilian transition. Marin has a degree in Political Science, Law and Society, and a Naval Science Influence from University of Southern California.
