Marcela Moreno is Operations and IT Manager of Avila S.A., where she has been for 2 years. In her role, she is responsible for all IT tools, data collection, reporting and systems in Peru. Reporting directly to the directors and managers, she oversees a team of 22 people and manages four areas: Data, IT, Operations and Emissions.
With a background working in operations, Marcela holds a degree in Engineering from Catholica University, class of 2007. Looking ahead, she hopes to manage a corporation in Chile, and credits teamwork and patience as being key to her success. She loves to be able to see her staff shine on their own, and is proud to manage a great team of people.
Outside of work, Marcela enjoys travel and reading, and does charitable work in Chile.
