Biography

Martha Calderon is the Legal Counselor at the Guatemalan embassies to South Korea Belgium, Sweden, the Vatican, Rome and Honduras. Prior to this, she spent 27 years at the Headquarters of the Guatemalan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and served several posts such as deputy director for multilateral relations (UNO affairs). Martha currently oversees the passport and visa process for those seeking entrance to Guatemala. Martha holds her Bachelor's degree in Law from Guatemala University and is a member of the Association of Lawyers and Notary. Moving forward, she plans to continue to grow and make a difference in her country. When not engaged with work, Martha enjoys reading, poetry, and writing books.
