Martha Zavala has over 10 years of experience in her current field. She is the Director of Safety and Environment Consulting at SHMA Consultoría y Asesoría en Seguridad y Medio Ambiente. She founded SHMA Consultancy and Advisory in Safety, Hygiene and Environment in 2015.
Her main areas of expertise are environmental consulting & advisory, environmental safety, and environmental protection. Prior to forming her own company she worked for Professional Security Training in advisory and training for 6 years. She is well known for her expertise and leadership in her field. Her vision for the future is to expand her company and maintain her level of expertise in the industry.
She has a Master’s degree in Environmental Protection from the University of Guadalajara from 2006. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Guadalajara from 2003. She speaks fluent English and Spanish. In her free time she enjoys volleyball, running, and soccer. In the next few years she would like to continue what she is currently doing. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
