Melanie Pennycuff has been in her Professional career for more than 20 years, starting as an attorney in 1999, and admitted in Indiana where she worked in bankruptcy. Currently, Melanie is working with Kreisler Law P.C., a small firm where she practices in both the federal and state courts in a variety of mostly contract and white collar crime litigation.
Here, Melanie has a tremendous amount of flexibility which is refreshing after working at bigger firms where billable hours was the bottom and was always fascinated with law and the way it works.
Melanie has written and spoken at a number of CLE seminars involving bankruptcy law. She finds that other women lawyers find her approachable and she always finds time to offer her experience to other professionals, especially women.
At this stage in Melanie's career, she seeking to network and connect with other like-minded professionals, share experiences, establish more of a personal brand and be recognized. When not working she enjoys reading, traveling, and new things.
