More than 25 years
For 25 years, Dr. Mette Dahl has been a researcher with a PhD in Hydrology working in groundwater-surface water interaction and wetland hydrology. Since 2010, she has changed her focus to textile design and textile art, exhibiting and selling her work. In this role, Dr. Dahl designs experimental knitwear and makes tapestries.
Moving forward, Dr. Dahl sees herself making exhibitions and experimenting with people from other areas. She is looking forward to growing and expanding in the textile industry as well as moving between areas, which has allowed her to make this career change and choose her own path.
When not engaged with work, Dr. Dahl enjoys horses, growing vineyards for wine, and building houses with family.
