I have four sisters and in the middle. I have three nieces and four nephews.
More than 25 years
Dr. Mfon E. Umoren is a 61 year old female and is the owner of and a dentist at Umoren Dental Services. She has had the business for over thirty years. She says that she sees patients all day long, does exams, x-rays, cleanings and gum treatments. Dr. Umoren says she developed her passion for her field when she was a young child and had her first toothache.
Her expertise are in paradental treatment and the preventive aspects of dentistry. Dr. Umoren is a DDS and received her doctorate from Meharry Medical College in Tennessee in 1987. She belongs to the National Dental Association. She won the Mission Trip Award in March of 2018 and also won the Dental Society Award.
In the next few years she is planning to retire and continue to mentor other dentists. She also wants to do implants herself and continue her own education. She attributes her success to having a good attitude and being willing to give back. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
