Michelle Aube-Simmonds is an RDH / DH Professor and Owner of Positive Impact Dental Coaching. She is a professional speaker for Positive Impact Dental Coaching. When she was a kid she drank from well water, which would stain her teeth. Her dentist would accuse her of smoking as a result. Not liking that negative experience she wanted to become a dentist to make sure her patients didn’t get that same negative experience. During her time as a dentist she saw the need for continued education so she started a consulting practice around bringing continued education to dental offices. Once she embarked on this route she realized the need for leadership and coaching. Sh also realized the need for female support. Now, she has started to branch outside of just dental practices to offer leadership and personal coaching to individuals. She speaks at Ontario Dental Hygiene Association called Energize and at the Dental Hygiene Society, Maxill, Strumann, and Johnson and Johnson. She has multiple publications in the Canadian Dental Hygiene Association of Canada, and helps write policy for college dental hygiene programs. In the next few years she wants to Integrate Leadership Development into High School and College. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
