Oranit Ido is an Innovation Rainmaker at Lemon Tree. She leverages a deep understanding of the medical technology sector and integrates her clients’ professional, clinical and business assets to create comprehensive development and marketing strategies. This helps clients refocus more clearly on their true goals, whether they are a hospital, physician, med-tech distributor, healthcare technology developer or entrepreneur. Currently, she is bringing these skills to her work as an adviser for special projects at the Israeli Ministry of Health, as well as the “innovation rainmaker” for the Sheba Medical Center’s advanced research fund. Her record of successful product commercialization - from prototype to launch - spans the USA, Israel, Korea, Japan and Australia. She founded Lemon Tree to better share her fresh approach to strategic planning, marketing and cross-cultural networking. Creating connections is a key part of what she does, building enriching and, at times, unexpected links between people, technologies and markets. This has included: opening up new markets in the US, the EU, China and Korea, navigating national and international regulations, increasing company revenue (for example, by 500% in 3 years) and negotiating the inclusion of new technologies in government-subsidized healthcare. As the director of marketing strategy for the first official TEDMED event in Israel, she facilitated enriching interactions among 2,500 participants and expanded the circle of TEDMED partners. Similarly, for the Epoch Times’ Med for a Change event in Tel Aviv, she guided the creation and implementation of event content for 850 healthcare professionals and innovation specialists. She has been invited several times to lecture on her story of perseverance in the face of a near-fatal medical emergency, and her determination to grow despite – and from – that trauma. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
