Ravita Babwah has 16 years of experience in the legal sector. As an Attorney-at-Law for the Ministry of the Attorney General, she s head of the Unit of Trinadad and Tobacco that helps parents worldwide with children that were abducted, as per the parental Child Abduction under the 1980 Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of Child Abduction. Having always wanted to work in a field where she could make a difference, Ravita holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law from the University of the West Indies, class of 2003. Currently, she is working toward a master's degree in International Law. She is a member of Rotary International, and is a dynamic public speaker in court and at conferences. Looking ahead, Ravita wants to work more on public awareness campaigns and hopes to continue to grow and expand in her field. She credits her success to her passion and dedication to helping families. Outside of work, she enjoys travel and reading.
