Roupina Jambazian is the Deputy General Manager for AECO. She has been with the company for over 25 years and has been in this role for the last 15 years. Her main responsibilities include working on projects that are funded by Arab or Kuwait funds. She is an engineering consultant with over 35 years of experience with a specialization in roads and airports. Daily, she controls/supervises all projects and all business development, contract negotiations and human resources, budgeting and trains new engineers. Roupina fluently speaks English, Arabic, French and Armenian. She enjoys the challenges that projects bring and gains satisfaction from having roads built and having people being able to get around easier. Roupina’s expertise are in airports and roads. She has a Master’s Degree from the University of Liverpool in 2010 and received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Jordan in 1983. Roupina belongs to the Jordanian Engineering Association. In the next few years she hopes to continue to develop herself professionally within this company, continue training young engineers and passing down her experience and knowledge. She attributes her success to her perseverance, never giving up and enjoying finding solutions. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
