Rosalind is a barrister with over 30 years experience and an expert in company law and corporate litigation. She is now a Partner in Walkers, an international law firm, based in their British Virgin islands office. Her practice has particular focus on shareholder disputes, corporate governance, strategy & risk management, directors' duties, boardroom disputes, contested takeovers, contentious & non-contentious corporate restructurings, Plans & Schemes of Arrangement. She has a particular interest in family owned companies. Rosalind is the author of "Table A and the New Model Articles" (Sweet & Maxwell) and a contributing author of "Annotated Companies Acts" contributing the sections on Financial Assistance for purchase of own shares, Reductions of Capital and Redenomination of Share Capital. She was an advisor to the House of Lords opposition front bench during what became the English Companies Act 2006. Rosalind is a passionate advocate of diversity in the workplace and actively engages in practical steps directed to leveling the playing field so that all persons of merit have an equal chance of achieving career success.
