Ruby D. Peterson is owner of Whole Soul Wisdom where she serves as Indigenous Counselor and Mentor. Ruby is answering her calling to share her learning with others. In her first year of business, she is committed to offering mentorship programs to women who wish to learn more about their sacred indigenous knowledge gifts and follow the path to their sacred calling.
Ruby has a unique psychosocial approach to her work that employs environmental, social and historical factors as well as her specialization in intergenerational trauma. Using evidence-based models of therapy within a culturally relevant context, she utilizes body-centered psychotherapy with a nature-based indigenous cultural framework that emphasizes the wisdom within. She focuses on restoring balance and connection to all of self, and all of life.
