Sharon Angelica has over 21 years of experience in her field, and has been Associate Director Engineering Division of New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) for the past 8 years. She oversees a team that reports directly to her, and takes regular meetings, problem solving issues as they arise.
Initially, Sharon started out as a teacher, and found she worked well with students. She transitioned into being a guidance counselor and ran the dean's office, as well as worked with the Ministry of Higher Education. Highly skilled with numbers, budgets and spreadsheets, Sharon is skilled at fundraising, project management, and training, having set up the accreditation fo the education division of her program. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree, and credits her success to being career-oriented.
