Dr. Silvia Rueda holds a PhD in Computer Science (2008) from the University of Valencia. She is an assistant professor from 2010 at the Computer Science Department of this University, where she teaches Software Engineering. As a teacher, she has participated in several teaching innovation projects.
As a researcher, since her incorporation to the University of Valencia (1998), she has participated in more than 35 research projects mainly related to Virtual Reality. The results of these projects affected many relevant companies of the ICT sector such as DGT and Dragados or France Telecom (Orange).
Since 2015 Dr. Rueda is the head of the Computer Science Department. Her research activities are now focused on the Software Engineering field. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
