Talya Goodwin has been in her current role for the past two years, and is Accounts Payable for Verdex Construction. She works with 10 companies, and ensures that vendors are paid in a timely fashion, and oversees administration, filing, and training employees on the software used for accounts payable.
Previously, Talya worked as a stay at home mom, and was inspired to reenter the workforce when a close friend of hers got an MBA. She decided to train for administrative work, and later branched into accounting. Talya is an expert multi-talker, and has a master's in Business for the Healthcare sector from Keller Graduate School
Outside of work, Talya enjoys volunteering. She credits her success to not being afraid to try new things and learning from her failures.
