I previously worked in the accounting field, including Assistant Controller of 2 companies in Michigan. Then struck out on my own to do accounting for firms that needed occasional seasonal help. That allowed me more time to sell manufactured jewelry on-line. I have always wanted to continue to the Jewelry/Gemstone industry and started my business in Designing Jewelry, Gemology Services & Jewelry Appraisal. To me this isn't a job but very interesting rewarding business to be associated.

Terrie Sweeney is the Owner of gems N metal. She recently successfully completed all related courses to be a Registered Gemologist Appraiser with the International School of Gemology. This includes her Gemologist Appraiser as a Registered Graduate International School of Gemology.
Terrie previously was an accountant for 25 years. She has always had a passion for arts and crafts and after her husband passed away she did some jewelry design and with further research found that correctly trained gemologist appraisers have a industry that is in need qualified people. She has a passion and a drive that makes this business as successful as she can. Over the next few years, she will be working to grow her business further and would like to connect with women who she can share with and connect with.
