Trudi Lloyd Williams is an Environmental Artist and cares about the environment deeply. Her passion is to educate people on how to protect our waterways and keep them clean. Currently, she is working on a project she is very proud of on an Island in Greece on the Ionian Sea as a volunteer, and is installing a sculpture on a waterway to bring attention to preserving our waterways and raising awareness on marine pollution and how single use plastics are detrimental. Trudi raises awareness in a creative way through her art work by involving the local community and doing things like beach cleans and partnering with the local council and the national parks organization. In addition to being a sculptor, Trudi is also an avid photographer, painter, and loves to sketch and draw. She has lectured and presented internationally on marine environment and wants to publish a book and enter a PhD program for further studies on how single use plastics effect our marine environment. She is an avid wind surfer and has sailed competitively. She feels her passion for water has led her to many successful art installations and exhibits while simultaneously raising awareness of the marine environment.
