Uma Srinivasan is Finance Director for Venture Consulting. She stepped into her current role in 2012 having over 15 years of experience in Big 4 audit firms and multinational companies. She is a CPA from California and an ICWA from India. Of her many strengths are financial analysis and planning, financial accounting, budgeting and planning, working capital management and implementation of financial systems. Her international experience spans the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Central and South America.
Uma completed the General Management Program in Management from the Indian Institute of Management in 2010, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants program in 2000. She completed the AICWA program of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India, 1996, and earned a CA in Accounting, Auditing, Taxation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, 1996. As a mentor in the Gavel Club, Uma speaks frequently and teaches children on a fortnightly basis. In the next three to five years, she wants to contribute more to the promotion of women and help others become successful and improve.
