Zorimar Betancourt is the President of Fundacion Stefano, and has seven years of experience in her profession. On an average day she writes proposals, helps other parents that have lost a child, goes to hospitals, does art work, provides support for the families, aids in getting a funeral home for the families, does violence prevention programs and camps for the children, talks at churches, and does documentaries. She started the non-profit because her son was murdered and wanted to help other families that have lost a loved one. She is an expert in marketing. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a minor in Marketing from Emory University and received it in 1989. She will be doing a seminar on June 2, 2019 and does other seminars often, and was in a magazine and newspaper for her recognition. She has received awards from the Chamber of Commerce, Veterans Association Purple Heart, was the runner up in People Magazine for Powerful Woman of the year in January 2019. In the next three to five years she would like to have a healing center in Puerto Rico and do talks around the state, and she will be writing a book on values and another book for parents of deceased children. Her key to success is keeping goals and having a good team as well as passion. The highlight of her career is she is proud of her children and the way she raised her them. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
