The Worldwide Association of Female Professionals Recognizes Anita A. Henry
Anita A. Henry is the Director of PC/EBG Quality Strategy and Operations/Chief of Staff at Lenovo, a multinational leader in DataCenter, storage and mobile technology for large enterprise, home and office solutions. With over 20 years of experience in product development and global supply chain strategy, Anita is an accomplished and highly recognized business transformation executive. She has demonstrated expertise in developing and directing cross-functional teams to solve large complex E2E problems. Having been with Lenovo since 2007, in her current role she received the Individual Excellence Award for Global Operations, in recognition of having developed and executed an integrated quality strategy across the PC & Enterprise Business Units.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management and Engineering with a minor in Statistics from the University of Alabama, Anita went on to complete a master’s degree in Managerial Leadership from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining Lenovo, she worked for other industry giants including Motorola and Dell, and also as a Career Coach through Directions4Success. While at Motorola, she became a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. She is also LSS MBB/PMP certified.
Anita is a member of Women in Technology International and the Society of Women Engineers, and remains closely affiliated with the Institute for Managerial Leadership at University of Texas, Austin. She resides in Austin, where she enjoys competing as a member of Team USA International Triathlon, as well as being a former NCAA Division Champion in Swimming.
