Charlotte “Charlie” Cooper is the Owner and Founder of By Charlie Ltd. a concierge and events company based in St. Lucia that seamlessly combines a sleek, high-end, city style of service with the laid back luxury of island living. Established in 2015, By Charlie grew from Charlie’s own international events experience combined with her love of the Caribbean Island. She has coordinated and led a wide range of events including Celebrity Weddings, London Fashion Week and the Queen’s Jubilee at Buckingham Palace.
The firm offers concierge services that deliver highly personalized and tailored attention to each client’s particular requirements and needs, redefining the luxury standard of customer service on the island. From dinner party and proposal planning through to bachelor/bachelorette doo’s, Charlie and her associates offer the seamless expertise to ensure your vacation stands out among the rest.
As an event manager, Charlie offers a full suite of production and is seasoned in event design, operations and marketing. She organizes each event to an exclusively high standard and can provide services that go above and beyond the scope of general event management companies. Bringing with her a European sense of timing and attention to detail, she is known for offering original ideas and innovative, breathtaking displays, coupled with seamless timeline oversight and thorough attention to detail.
Charlie grew up between London and Saint Lucia and gained an appreciation from an early age of the two completely different cultures. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Event Management from Leeds Metropolitan University in addition to an HND in Public Relations. Prior to founding her own company, she held various event coordination and managerial roles within high end companies including Brintex Events, Media 10 Ltd, and Haymarket Exhibitions.
In addition to managing a complex calendar of high ends events, Charlie is developing a nonprofit organization, Path Hunters. The organization will assist young adults in choose the right path and ensure their talents are not wasted by pairing them with mentors and providing internships for them. She aims to work with kids transitioning out of orphanages and juvenile detention centers to provide them with a career and a better way of life.
