Marcela Carrera is an entrepreneur that organizes, structures and helps analyzes any type of business in order to optimize its resources and administer more efficiently the operation. Has worked for several companies as project manager optimizing their processes, structure their departments, and coach their work teams to make them collaborate with each other.
 
Actually is working as a College teacher at Fashion Institue at Monterrey, Mexico Imparting Business Management and other topics involving Marketing & Advertising Strategies, as well as Research Methodologies, Professional Ethics with the objective of sharing her experience on the different expertise and development of her professional carreer.
 
Has worked as a Commercial Manager for Grupo AGA, a business development and marketing company that combines tools and profiles to align client businesses with strategic locations, target markets, profit and growth. Has more than 20 years of experience in management consulting, Marcela manages the sales, new clients, projects and development of proposals for the company.
 
After earning a degree in Graphic Design and English from the Universidad de Monterrey, Marcela demonstrated herself as a skilled marketer and rose through the ranks to become Director of Marketing and Publicity for TNS, and she spent 10 years as the Associate Director of Marketing and Finance for Structuras, an incentive and event management company and Aletas y Picos, a bottled spring water company. Prior to joining Grupo AGA in December, she was the Operations and Sales Director at Nouvel Studio SA de CV, a handcraft of blown crystal company that designs and fabricates unique high end crystal products like the ones of Murano, Italy.
 
Marcela resides in the Monterrey Mexico area, and speaks fluent English and Spanish. Known for being highly details in each task she takes on, she hopes to apply her skills to help start up companies and to continue to develop and lead a team of excellent workers and problem solvers. Outside of her work, she enjoys traveling, sports, reading and manual activities such as sewing any kind of cloth articles.
