As a best-selling author and expert in the retirement living industry since 2005,  Amy Friesen has worked with seniors and their families throughout North America. In 2014 Amy founded Tea & Toast.

Tea & Toast’s unique method of assisting those who are navigating the retirement living industry saves families countless hours and stress that conducting their own retirement living search would have inevitably amounted to. This personalized service advocates for clients’ personal needs and wants, while simultaneously ensuring that their short-term and long-term goals, as well as care needs, are planned for.

Amy educates and speaks to the community and local businesses regularly about the complicated retirement living industry. Amy has been recognized by the House of Commons for her 2018 Businesswoman of the Year Award as well as being a 2019 Forty Under 40 recipient.

Amy holds her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Ottawa. Moving forward, she plans on bringing communities together through her website and her business. Amy hopes to expand her network by meeting likeminded professionals worldwide.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys photography and traveling. She also volunteers with seniors and organizations in the community.
