Shelley-Ann Clarke-Hinds is currently engaged as a Management Specialist with the Ministry of Tourism of Trinidad and Tobago, assisting with the revision of the National Tourism Policy. Prior to this engagement, she held the position of Executive Manager, External ICT Relations in the Ministry of Public Administration and the Ministry of Science and Technology for ten (10) years where she sought to advance the country’s interest in the area of information and communication technology (ICT) in the international arena. Her professional career began some twenty years ago in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a Foreign Service Officer given her ongoing passion and interest in the field of international relations, diplomacy and sustainable development.

Shelley-Ann holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Social Sciences, a Post-Graduate Diploma in International Relations, both from the University of West Indies; and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of London.

For her future plans, Shelley-Ann foresees continuous growth through the pursuit of lifelong learning aimed at continuously making a meaningful impact in her field and all persons with whom she has the pleasure to interact. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals so that, as a member of the Association, she can realize the benefits of their combined knowledge and expertise.
